Last week I went to see ' A Single Man' A film by Tom Ford. This movie was absolutely breathtaking visually! It is about a man, George a college English Professor (Colin Firth) who recently lost his partner in life Jim, an architect (Mathew Goode). It is a day in his life where he is still trying to deal with the loss. Julianne Moore plays Firth's best friend who is is next door to Firth (in his Amazing house!). It is such a touching story.
I love the amount of symbolism hidden in it as well. It is all subtle yet it so fitting to the story. I highly recommend it to anyone! The furniture and overall setting was done amazingly! As well as the costumes.
