Ode to John, Paul, George and Ringo

I felt like I was in a funk for a few days and I decided to make some posters. Small and menial I know but still I am making something of my time right? Well I went through and found some of my favorite Beatles songs, and took lyrics from them that I loved. These are the three of the four but I will be posting the fourth when it is finished.

I wanted simple but fun... I hope that you like them.

'P.S. I love you'- Lennon / McCartney

'Good Day Sunshine' - Lennon / McCartney

'Yellow Submarine' - Ringo Starr

Doofy & Silly

These are the last installment of silly Valentines cards. They were quick and simple. I was getting frustrated with drawing today so I took a 1/2 hour break. Hope you like them. They are silly and fun for today and got me back in to the groove of everything.

Wood you be mine?

Please... "Be mine!"

'Immortal Beloved'

I am a hopeless romantic, I will admit it. I love When people put a lot of thought in doing something for another. When it is hand made or written or put together - I find that more romantic than going out and buying something.

I love a book called 'Love Letters of Great Men and Women" This book is great when you are feeling mushy! One of my favorites are series of ones written by Ludwig Beethoven. when he died they found three letters in the house he was staying at, these beautifully written letters were left to send out with no address and no name. The only time the woman was addressed was when he called her his 'Immortal Beloved'. No one knows who she was, there is speculation but no one is for sure. I find that to add to the romance a little bit.

For Valentines Day I wanted to pay homage to Ludi' and his love by creating some cards that are some of my favorite quotes from his letters.

I hope that you like them!

Ode to Po'town

I am from upstate New York, specifically the Hudson Valley, well Hyde Park. There is so much history in the area though. President Roosevelt and his wife are from there, Van Burren etc. It is a great place to visit and to grow up.

Poughkeepsie is the next town over and well if you are familiar with the area, then you know that you spend a lot of your time there. :) I wanted to give some credit to Poughkeepsie and the area around it. Recently a railroad bridge was restored and made in to the countries largest walkway! Really cool! There is a link here - from when I just went home and the photos from it.

It is something simple. For when Poughkeepsie was a much simpler time. It made my day a little better! Hope that you like it!

And finally here is a sneak peak at my good luck card that I am working on. It isnt finished yet though.

I am having so much fun with all of this though. I have so many more ideas that I hope to get out tonight and possibly tomorrow!

Any one know what day it is?

Here is a Calender set that I created today. Before they are printed they will be double- sided. One for this year and then you could use it again for the next as well. There will a little stand for you to rest it on your desk. It all can be stored in one place. They are 4 x 6. I wanted to create little cute calendars that you can have around the office and at home.
